APRIL 2026 – DIVINE LAUNCHING INTO THE DEEP

Pastor’s Corner

I gladly welcome you again into the fourth month of the New Year 2026, which is our covenant Year of Divine Glorious light (PSALM 36: 9). The supernatural light of God will lighten every area of our destiny, and every darkness shall be subdued and conquered. Amazingly, this month of April is the prophetic month of Divine Launching into the Deep (Luke 5: 4). How Deep Is Deep? There is a depth in the Lord that we need to search out. I looked up the word depth in the New Webster Dictionary and one of the meanings was “situated far down from the surface.” My mind wanders to a thought that we need to be more than surface Christians and go to a new depth in Him. What is deep? Where is the deep? Where do I let my nets down?

What am I supposed to catch? I envision the deep as losing myself totally in Jesus. Where? In my sphere of influence, in the territory that has been given to me and where I’m being led. What is the catch? I see the catch as being people, life words and truth – my people perish for lack of knowledge. I am to help bring life, truth and knowledge to God’s chosen people. Who, what people? Those locked into captivity, by a prison of their own making or by others that have put them in bondage. Isaiah 61 states, the Spirit of the Lord anoints us to preach to the poor, heal the brokenhearted, declare liberty to the captives, open prison doors to those who are bound, and to comfort all who mourn. How do we know and understand these things of God? Scripture tells us But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. (I Corinthians 2:10-12).

The next scripture in Chapter 2 explains that when we receive the Spirit of God, we know these deep things that are freely given to us by God. In this same chapter, scripture releases one of the deeper profound words of Paul: But it is written: Eye has not seen nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for Those who love Him. What does the above scripture mean to me? I have not even begun to know the depths of the love God has for me. My eyes can’t see, nor my ears hear, and my heart often has a hard time receiving the things God has prepared for me. The deep longing of my soul is to go to the depth of His love. This is where He wants to take me. One of those deeper places that I know He wants to take me is His Rest. Now is the time to get rid of every shallowness in every area of our lives in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

Conclusion

“Expectancy is the eye of faith. Faith always has a watchtower. When Elijah went to the tiptop of Carmel to pray, he was careful to send his servant to watch the sea. Prayer is faith looking up. Expectancy is faith looking out.”
