DECEMBER 2025 – DIVINE HIDING PLACE

Pastor’s Corner

I gladly welcome you into the month of December, which is the last month of our amazing year 2025. Indeed, our faithful God of Hope has done so much for us and we are forever grateful and graceful. Amazingly, this has been God’s Year for our Divine Zeal for the Kingdom’s assignments (Romans 12: 11).

The final month is our season of Divine Hiding Place and God has promised to finish the year with us with His maximum protection and care such as He did for his saints of the past: The story has been told of a believer, Frederick Nolan, who was fleeing from his enemies during a time of persecution in North Africa. Pursued by them over hill and valley with no place to hide, he fell exhausted into a wayside cave, expecting his enemies to find him soon. Awaiting his death, he saw a spider weaving a web. Within minutes, the little bug had woven a beautiful web across the mouth of the cave. The pursuers arrived and wondered if Nolan was hiding there, but on seeing the unbroken and unmingled piece of art, thought it impossible for him to have entered the cave without dismantling the web. And so, they went on. Having escaped, Nolan burst out and exclaimed: “Where God is, a spider’s web is like a wall, Where God is not, a wall is like a spider’s web.” Surely, our faith in Father God is our spacious and safest Hiding Place and nothing can touch us without passing through Him (Psalm 9:9; 17:8; 27:5; 31:20; 64:2; 91:1;119:114; 143:9). Now let us get ready to escape every remaining end of the year calamity and disaster in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ (Amen)

Conclusion

“Every Man’s Need of a Refuge: Zephaniah’s name means, “Jehovah hides.” Many believe that Zephaniah was likely born during the reign of the wicked king Manasseh. We mentioned last week about the early start to the reign of the godly kind Josiah at 8 years old. But Josiah’s father, Manasseh, also had an early start as king at 12 year old. We find the account of Manasseh’s leadership in 2 Chronicles 33:2-6.”
