Pastor’s Corner
I joyfully welcome you into February, which is the second month of the Year 2023, which is God’s Year for our Divine Double Preservation (Zechariah 2: 8). Undoubtedly, the year 2022 was an amazing and glorious Year in our church and families. Now prophetically, in this second month of the Year 2223, which is the Month of our Divine Lion of Judah. The lion is a prominent animal in the ancient Near East, used in the artwork of many nations to signify royalty and power. The lion is mentioned over 130 times in the Old Testament and less frequently in the New Testament, usually in a figurative sense. The lion symbolizes, among other things, victory (Genesis 49:9; Numbers 23:24) , wickedness (Prov 28:15) and the Messiah (Rev 5:5). Basically, the lion is the king of all the animals, and it is never tamed or caged. However, when you examine the Bible, the lion prophetically stands for the tribe of Judah (Genesis 49: 8-9); the tribe of Gad (Deuteronomy 32: 20); the whole nation of Israel (Numbers 24: 9); the whole Church of Christ (Isaiah 31: 4); and of course Christ Himself the real LION OF JUDAH (Revelation 5: 5). God said, in this new month, the real Lion of Judah will roar over your troubles and He will shut the mouths of every evil lion against you as He did for Prophet Daniel of old: Then the king got up at daybreak, at first light, and he went ⌊in haste⌋ to ⌊the lion pit⌋. And ⌊when he came near⌋ to the pit, he cried out to Daniel with a distressed voice, and the king ⌊spoke⌋ and said to Daniel, “O Daniel, servant of the living God, your God whom you serve faithfully, was he able to rescue you from the lions?” Then Daniel spoke to the king, “O king, live ⌊forever⌋! My God sent his angel and he shut the mouth of the lions and they did not hurt me, ⌊because⌋ before him ⌊I was found⌋ blameless, and also before you, O king, I have not done any wrong.” (Daniel 6: 19-21) (Amen and Shalom)
