Dearly Beloved: “Hear my cry O Lord; attend unto my prayer, from the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I” Ps. 61:1-2. David passed through a lot of trials and encountered difficulties. He was abandoned and forgotten in the wilderness, he was wrongly and unjustly accused by his brothers. He endured succession battles from the King and his son Absalom and he saw disheartening family troubles but he stayed connected to God. I charge you today to stay connected no matter the circumstance or the challenge you may be facing. Tough seasons are part and parcel of the Christian race; He never promised us a trouble free life, but He promised us a victory-full life. Jesus said in John 16:33 “In the world you will have tribulations, but be of good cheer for I have overcome the world. In other words when the trials come, you can laugh and lay hold of the victory in Christ Jesus. Be confident in God’s ability to bring you out and the rest that He has promised, you will enjoy to the fullest IN JESUS NAME!Shalom! Rev. (Dr) Lawrence Lasisi
