OCTOBER 2023 – DIVINE DOUBLE FORWARD MARCH

Pastor’s Corner

I once again welcome you to the new month of October, which is the month of our Divine Double Forward March. Amazingly, everything about our God is forwardness and not backwardness because the light always travels forward and not backward (Proverbs 4: 18). However, sadly enough most of the time we experience destiny stagnation and backwardness due to various reasons. We could clearly see this scenario in the life of the redeemed children of Israel who experienced destiny stuck and were trapped in a region called Kadesh Barnea for thirty-eight years of their forty years journey in the wilderness. Sadly, a place which means a region of holiness became a destiny trap for them due to their rebellions. According to Roden (2016), Kadesh-barnea and the surrounding region played a significant role in the life of Abraham. Ishmael was born to Hagar and Abraham near Kadesh-barnea at a well called Beer-lahai-roi (Gen 16:14). Abraham also sojourned in the Negev region in and around Kadesh-barnea (Gen 20:1).
 Israel spent 38 years of the wilderness wanderings in and around the region of Kadesh-barnea (Duet.2:14). Moses, during the wilderness wanderings, sent out twelve spies from Kadesh-barnea who then reported back to Moses and the people (Num 13:26; 32:8). Moses’ sister Miriam died and was buried at Kadesh-barnea (Num 20:1). From Kadesh-barnea, Moses requested permission for, and was denied, passage through the land of Edom (Num 20:16). Kadesh-barnea is near Mount Hor, where Aaron’s garments were placed upon Eleazar and where Aaron died (Num 20:22–29). The place was indeed a generation or bloodline trap for the Israelites. Today the good news is that by the grace of God we are coming out of every Kadesh Barnea syndrome and every destiny trap, stuck, cycle and recycle and stagnation shall be destroyed in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Now let us get ready for a great destiny shift by His grace. (Amen)

Monthly Prophetic Prayer Power-Points

  1. Today I confess, repent and forsake every unconfessed and hidden sin that has caused my persistent destiny stagnation, recycling and cycling (Numbers 14:1–4, 26–34; Deuteronomy 9:23)
  2. In the Name of Jesus Christ, I am now free from every generational stagnation and traps (Deuteronomy 2: 13-16; 6: 23)
  3. Today I refuse to be like king Saul who was spiritually stagnated for thirty-eight years out of his forty years reign (1 Samuel 13: 1; Acts 13: 21)
  4. In the name of Jesus Christ, I am totally free of every stagnation of disease and sickness in my life and family (John 5: 1-11)
  5. Today I pray for a full liberation from every cycle, trap of affliction and bondage in my life and family (Psalm 34: 9; Genesis 41: 50-57)
  6. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray for a total victory over every long-time spiritual battle (2 Samuel 3: 1)
  7. Today I declare that my destiny will march forward, and I will advance from every destiny adversity and adversary (Judges 8: 1-4; Jeremiah 30: 16; Micah 5: 9; Luke 13: 17; 1 Corinthians 16: 9)

Conclusion
MY DESTINY IS WRAPPED UP IN CHRIST AND I AM UNSTOPPABLE, EVERY DESTINY ROADBLOCK IS REMOVED AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING FOR MY GOOD (ACTS 28: 30-31)
